A place that was once more famous than the entire Budva Riviera, today it is almost forgotten by people and the world, despite the nature that surrounded it and that hides in its bosom as many as five lakes in the vicinity of Plav!
So today we are talking about the lake that is located at the highest altitude in the whole country!
Abdija's lake is located in the cirque below the highest peak of Horolac - Jupov vrh, at an altitude of 2,054 masl, which makes it the lake at the highest altitude in Montenegro.

The tour is organized as follows:
The starting point - the town of Paljevi is reached by an asphalt road, first to the village of Bogajići, and then by a good macadam road in a length of 7 km to Paljeve. It is possible, without problems, to arrive in small passenger cars, note from TO Plav.
The hiking tour starts from Zuvdija's Konak in Paljevi. The path leads through the spruce forest, through Konjsko Obor to Krljopin Katun, and then to the highest peak of Kofiljača (1,825 m above sea level), from which there is a beautiful view of the Plavsko-Gusinjska valley.
The path continues along the ridge of Hotska Strana, and then from Jezercet follows the ascent up Horolac to its highest peak - Jupov Vrh at 2,200 meters above sea level. From the top there is a wide view in all directions, from Hridski Krs, Tromeđa, Ujkovo Krs, Dobrodolje, Markofca, Kollat, Meme.
After a break, there is a descent to Abdija's lake at the top. The water of the lake is warm at the time of the year when the tour is organized and it is possible to swim in it.
