➡️ FIRST AERO-CLUB IN MONTENEGRO
🔹 The local board of the Aero Club "Naša krila" in Plav, according to the date of establishment, is considered one of the first aero clubs formed in Montenegro.
🔹 Founded in July 1926, this club quickly became the center of aviation activities in the region.
🔹 With a large membership and a dedicated administration, Aero club "Naša krila" played an important role in promoting the development of the Yugoslav air force and raising awareness of its importance for the defense of the country.
🔹 One of the most interesting evidences of aviation activities in Plav is a preserved aerial photograph from 1935, which shows the town of Plav together with Plav Lake and the surrounding area.
🔹 This rare recording was made by second lieutenant pilot of Russian origin, emigrant and scout, Georgij A. Vahtelj.
🔹 His skill in aerial reconnaissance made it possible to create this unique recording, which today gives us an insight into the appearance of Plav from that period.
